Free Consultation

Free

A 15-minute phone or video call to figure out if we can help with what's blocking you. We'll confirm your situation fits our scope and answer questions about treatment. No pressure. Just clarity.

Included

Weekly Check-ins

Free

During medication adjustment, your provider checks in weekly to track your response and find your minimum effective dose. Not the maximum you can tolerate. The lowest amount that removes the barrier. Most people get there in weeks, not months.

Brief 5-15 minute phone check-ins for everyone. On a stimulant or benzodiazepine, a dose change happens only by video, so your provider schedules that check-in by video or switches the call over. It's still a check-in, at no charge.
Ongoing

Follow-up Appointment

$125

Scheduled video visits to review progress, refill medications, and adjust treatment. $125 per visit, separate from the free weekly check-ins. How often depends on your medication. We tell you ahead of any planned time away, and your provider arranges your medication refills.

Controlled substances (stimulants, benzodiazepines) require monthly video appointments per federal law. Benzodiazepines are only a short-term bridge here, typically 4-6 days maximum. Needing one longer than that is outside our scope, and your provider will refer you to a specialist. Non-controlled medications are monthly while your provider gets your dose right, then can move to quarterly once you're stable.

Focused by Design

Built Around One Job

Getting your medication right. Here's what comes with it, and what we leave to others.

What Comes With Your Care

  1. Rating Scales Throughout

You'll repeat short rating scales. Your scores show you and your provider when the dose is enough.

  2. Side Effects and Safety

Your provider watches for side effects and, on a stimulant, your blood pressure and heart rate.

  3. Your Provider Between Visits

Message your provider through the patient portal or Spruce secure messaging.

  4. Flexible Scheduling

Evening and weekend appointments when available.

What We Leave to Others

We keep our focus narrow on purpose. When you need something else, we'll tell you directly.

  • Therapy

Your provider can point you to therapist directories.

  • Conditions Outside Our Scope

Your provider will refer you, including for medication-assisted treatment (MAT).

  • Disability, Court, and Pain Care

We don't do disability or court evaluations, or treat chronic pain.

In a crisis? Call or text 988, or go to your nearest emergency room. We don't provide emergency services or after-hours crisis support.

How Payment Works

This is a cash-pay practice. Payment is due after each appointment. Pay through CharmHealth, in the patient portal or with the payment link in your email. You can carry a balance of one unpaid session. If your balance exceeds one session, we'll reschedule appointments until you pay the balance in full.

Accepted Payment Methods

Cards & Electronic Payments

Credit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and electronic payments, all through CharmHealth.

Cancellation Policy

Late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice): $25 fee

No-call no-shows: Full appointment fee charged

This respects everyone's time and keeps slots available for patients who need them.

Good Faith Estimate

No Surprises Act

Federal law requires healthcare providers to give you a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before services. We give you our fee schedule at intake, and it serves as that estimate. The fees are fixed and listed above, with no facility fees or surprise charges. What you pay over time depends on how many appointments your treatment needs, and medication costs are separate, paid directly to your pharmacy. If your actual charges exceed the estimate by $400 or more, you have the right to dispute them.

Why We Don't Bill Insurance

We're an out-of-network practice and don't bill insurance companies directly. What that means for you:

  • No prior authorization battles: Start treatment immediately
  • No treatment denials: Your care isn't subject to insurance second-guessing
  • No arbitrary time limits: Appointments last as long as needed
  • Continuity of care: No disruptions if your insurance changes
  • Privacy: We don't send your diagnosis or treatment details to your insurance company. A superbill includes your diagnosis and procedure codes, so whether to submit one is your call

Superbills for Reimbursement

If your plan has out-of-network benefits, ask us for a superbill (it lists your diagnosis and procedure codes) and submit it to your insurer yourself. Check those benefits before we start so you know what to expect.
